Ad-addled! Websites Trying To Divert You Into Spamland

Well, as a person who has used computers for over 20 years, it's easy for me to take things for granted that newer eyes would be misled by.  A big one on the web needs to be addressed, and those are Links That Have Nothing To Do With What You Want!  What do I mean by this?  Well, you go to a website to download, say, a codec pack.  On that website, SOMEWHERE, is the link to download that codec pack, but also, there are a lot of other links that masquerade as things that may lead you to believe you want to click on that.

Here's another example:

Clicking on the right link is how you avoid downloading the wrong thing onto your computer, and sometimes that wrong thing can be... you guessed it, a virus!  (Or some form of malware)

Sick of Youtube viewing times? Pwn Youtube.

Numerous reports over the last few months of Youtube's abysmal performance have not resulted in a response from Google-owned Youtube. This website has grown in popularity with a way of circumventing those terrible starts and stops that have been occurring of late on Youtube.
